Marriage and Mental Health Support Group RESCHEDULE

Picture2.png

We are very excited to announce the arrival of the Marriage and Mental Health support group. The pandemic has affected every area of our lives and we wanted to help those marriages who are in need of extra support.

Marriage is the first human institution established in the Bible (Genesis 1:27) and the relationship between husband and wife is spiritually important and integral to the building of the kingdom of God. As you might expect, if God designed marriage, he can provide the resources and the support to help us through any challenge. Our goal is create a safe environment where couples can be strengthened and encouraged without shame and explore ways to support each other.

Please contact Nick Morrill if you would like to join.

P.E.A.C.H: Parents Establishing Awesome Child-raising Habits

Picture3.png

Who: Pre-natal Parents thru Parents of children up-to age 5.

When: Every 3rd Saturday of the Month - April 17

Time: 10:00am

Where: ZOOM: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89403891610

Welcome to the Amazing P.E.A.C.H. Ministry! Our prayer is that through this ministry we can equip our fellowship with different resources and tools in our parenting. We believe that everyone can be fruitful parents that helps our families, friends and neighbors grow and thrive!.

The vision of the ministry is to create a sense of community (Acts 2:42) where we are all raising our kids together, helping each other to navigate the waters of parenting. However the time to start understanding our parenting and children is not during those infamous teens years. No, the time to start spiritual formation starts at birth (2 Tim 3:15), and it has been found out that years of 0-5 is the most fertile time to plant the word of God firmly into the souls of our children. (We will look at some of the newest studies on child development and see this play out in the professional social/psychological fields over and over again.)

We often see the need to get pre-martial counseling before we get married and this ministry will seek to have a “pre-birth” program to help parents develop spiritual habits as soon as the child is born. It is never too early to start and there are amazing ideas from many different people that we would like to bring together so that you can find what works for you. This is all given with the understanding that there is no one right way to raise children and each child is amazingly unique. We have to meet each child “one mind at a time” seeking to understand how to meet the needs of each individual situation.

Who: Pre-natal Parents thru Parents of children up-to age 5.

When: Every 3rd Saturday of the Month - (Next one is April 17)

Time: 10:00am

Where: ZOOM: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89403891610

See you then!
